During my recent holiday at the Holiday Inn Express Layton - I-15, An IHG Hotel, I found it to have a welcoming atmosphere, largely thanks to the friendly and accommodating staff. The central location makes it easy to explore the nearby attractions, and the plethora of restaurants within walking distance was particularly enjoyable for my travel companions and me. Our mornings began with the complimentary Express Start Breakfast, offering a delightful array of options that catered to everyone's tastes, including those of the kids. While the rooms could benefit from a refresh—feeling somewhat outdated—the cleanliness was not in question, with fresh bedding that ensured a decent night's sleep. As a background in environmental science shapes my travels, I appreciated the presence of safety features such as smoke detectors and a security system, providing peace of mind during our stay. Despite minor drawbacks like the size of the pool and hot tub, the hotel was a practical choice, especially given the value it offers for this location.
